Nor-Coast Kennel is located in North East Ohio, in the beautiful rolling hills of Geauga County. My dogs live in an environment that resembles a Bed and Breakfast for dogs. Each dog has their own space and has the ability to run and play freely in a natural park setting. There are no restrictions. The dogs are exercised each afternoon by my "canine coordinator - Donna" and all puppies are well socialized and exercised by Donna as well.

My breeding stock consists of Champion Blood line on both Sire and Dam. Between my dogs and their offspring, over 12 have completed their championship and others are working for their titles in agility, obedience and hunting skills. These are a very versatile and award winning dogs. My champions have performed and placed at the Eukanuba Dog Show in Tampa, Florida, the American Spaniel Club and even won a Canadian title.

Because my breeding is selective, there are only two litters per year. There have been over 50 lovely-healthy Fieldies born and living with only the ultimate families as their pet-companion.

Barbara Tekavec

"Barb not only answered all of our questions, she has become a dear friend and is a great resource for information. It has been a pleasure working with her and getting to know her and her dogs. When we were ready for our second field spaniel, there was no question in our minds that we were going back to barb. I would classify my Mack as the best black field spaniel that I have seen."
Al - Wisconson

"Our dog that we got from Barbara (Nor-Coast Spaniels) is the most loveable, wonderful pet we ever had. I give Nor-Coast the very highest recommendation"
Stuart - Ohio

"Barb's puppy's are the best kissers in the world!"

"Dear Barb:
Just a note to tell you how thrilled we are with our "Guy and Gal" Bella and Casey are typical brother and sister (they argue all the time) although they are two years apart. The are the smartest, prettiest and most loving Spaniels we have ever had and give us much pleasure. It was evident from the first time we met, two years ago, that you and NorCoast Kennels were a special breed of Spaniel breeder. The love and attention that you give to the pups and the pups parents is definitely proven in their overall quality and dispositions. The fact that you continually monitor the dogs progress, years after they leave your kennel, is an attest to your professionalism and concern for quality that is not shown by many breeders. Even though Bella and Casey are siblings, two years apart, they certainly have different dispositions and are just wonderful in their own way. We will always recommend NorCoast Kennels to anyone we know who is looking for that special Spaniel."
